Expansion
Vasantha Industries Private Limited
has the following plans for expansion in the near future:
- Currently, the mill has only
installed compact on 25% of the
spindles. Before the end of this financial year, all the spindles will be incorporated with compact spinning attachments.
- At VIPL, 65,760 spindles are equipped with Individual
Spindle monitoring systems. The mill has
plans to equip all the spindles with the same by this year and orders have
been finalized.
- The
Processing unit of the mill is equipped with Two for one twister, the mill
plans to add two state-of-the-art Auto corners with modern Clearers/Splicers for double yarn conversion to meet the
ever-increasing demands of plied yarn customers.
- As a part of the SPDM (Smart Predictive Maintenance), the mill
plans to equip with SPDM tools,
such as the thermography analyzer, the infrared air leakage tester,
vibration tester, and energy measurement provisions (machine wise/SSB
wise).
- The mill's team has set a target of doubling the annual turnover
by 2027 via increasing the value-added products and
modernization of the machinery for
productivity improvements.
