Vasantha Industries Private Limited
Vasantha Spinners Limited (VSL) was
established as a Public Limited Company in 2005. Ever since, VSL has been
operating exemplarily with the objective of establishing a fully integrated and
state-of-the-art textile complex in Thimmapuram Village, Edlapadu Mandal,
Guntur District—the heart of Andhra Pradesh’s cotton hub. In 2014, Vasantha
Spinners Limited changed to Vasantha Industries Limited (VIL). In 2021, by changing the shareholding
pattern in the company it is converted into Private Limited, and the name has
been suitably modified to Vasantha Industries Private Limited (VIPL).
In its first establishment phase, i.e.,
Cotton Spinning Mill, the Company completed the construction and installation
of machinery, to then commence its commercial operations within a stipulated
short time from 29th January 2007 onwards. VIPL went on to achieve
100% capacity installation of 26,400 spindles and utilization from August 2007
onwards. Ever since, VIPL is proud yet humble in surpassing the expectations of
one and all, and achieving the highest quality standards with count ranges of
30’s, 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s – Combed and Carded, high-quality grey and processed
yarns.
VIPL's successful operations
prompted the Management to enhance the capacity by 25% ,almost immediately. This addition brought the total spinning strength
to 33,120 spindles by April 2009. This was followed by further capacity
enhancement by the second unit with 33,792
spindles with an average count pattern of 35’s by September 2010, thereby
reaching a cumulative capacity of 66,912 spindles. In FY 2015-16, VSL further
expanded the unit by their third unit with an
additional capacity of 36,960 spindles. Concurrently VIL added value to their
products through their fourth unit with TFO`s, Gassing
machines, and Mercerizing machines. The fourth
unit is equipped with. TFO Twisters, Gassing & Mercerizing units for adding
value to 3500 kg per day. This expansion has resulted in reaching a
cumulative capacity of 1,03,872 spindles, a milestone of crossing a lakh of spindles
and 7200 TFO spindles. VIPL has also installed a manufacturing unit for 3-ply
and 5-ply carton boxes in FY 2015-16, to cater to the in-house requirements,
and also the nearby industries. The installed capacity of the corrugation plant
is 41 tons per day on a single-shift basis (equivalent to 63,000 carton boxes
per day).
VIPL has built a loyal customer base in
India and abroad as a result of the fine mixing of its Customer Relation
Management (CRM), Sophisticated Manufacturing Methods (5S, KAIZEN and TPM
culture), a highly dedicated and Self-Managed Teams (SMT), well-planned
operations, and ruthless quality Audits. 'Building the Quality into the
Products' & Tailor-making of products are the backbones of VIPL's Quality
Management Systems, which help them in delighting the customers by their
products and services.
